WK26: Day 6 - Congratulations!!!

In the last 24 hours two of my friends have had beautiful baby twin girls, amazing stuff!!! I'm over the moon you've had girls Jen and Lu as there has definitely been an boy baby boom recently. So I would like to send massive congratulations to;

Jennie and Shane! Welcome to the world Roisin and June.
&
Lucy and Chris! Welcome to the world Annie and Elsie.

Here's one for the multiple mummy's;
Before she went into hospital Jen shared this brilliant video with me. Although I haven't had the boys yet I still get asked the majority of these questions by most. I wonder how it's going to be when they're here :)

I had my cervix measured again yesterday and it's gradually getting shorter. My specialist said she didn't expect anything to happen in the next week though. Eeek, fingers and legs crossed!!! At least a week and a day please boys.

  1. Hi Emma,

    Glad to hear you are still doing well. You must be bored out of your mind on bed rest but you are doing a wonderful job.

    That video is excellent. I have that conversation pretty much every day. I can't imagine what people will say about quads!

  2. Hi Ali
    Thanks for the encouragement. I'm getting cabin fever for sure, but keep being amazed I'm still here.

  3. Hi Emma,

    That video is excellent and I honestly can't imagine how much interest you are going to generate with quads love, you are going to have to print out leaflets and hand them out as you go otherwise you won't get anything done. Ha ha.

    Congratulations to your friends too, it's so great having twins and you are having them twice over, can you imagine it yet? Fours times the love and smiles and then all that again with your gorgeous little boy, he is going to love them, ok maybe his loving maybe a little too enthusiastic at times, that's the problem I have with Madison, she loves the girls but the phrase "love hurts" took on a whole new meaning for us. ha ha. They'll be tough little cookies when they get older.

  4. Wow - the YouTube video is sure the way people are, isn't it! I'm not even a Mom, and I can't imagine being asked those questions! And it dawned on me that I think I asked my neighbor if her twins were "natural." OMG - I am SO ashamed and I am going to make a special effort to apologize to her! I can't believe I did that! :(

    By the way - you're amazing! I love the grace and brutal honesty in which you wrote out your feelings during your pregnancy. I so admire you!

    Congratulations on the birth x4!!! Wonderful! :)
